Development Summary

The market crabs while we do not— It's time for the inaugural Archetype Development Update.

In today’s agenda, we have the following major changes;

  • Active Protection: Purchase protection any time independently from swaps.

  • Upside Protection: Safeguard your exits and short positions from unforeseen rallies and FOMO.

  • Cross-Chain Swaps: Swap to- and from the most popular EVMs. Additionally, Archetype will soon support protection for cross-chain swaps.

  • QoL Updates: Buy and claim protection using any token of your choosing, brought to you by transaction bundling.

Our plans for Archetype are pretty big, all things considered. Everything of essence in DeFi will eventually be aggregated under the same nifty front-end, giving users the power to manage their yield, staking, protection, and lending positions at will.

However, that’s all still in the works. For now, enjoy the new protection and cross-chain features to the fullest — our swap execution is the best on Arbitrum with absolutely zero fees!

Users are now able to directly purchase protection for the most popular crypto assets at any time, wherever they are in the world.

FOMO Protection (Upside Protection)

Before, you couldn't choose a direction to protecc from. Now, users are able to choose the direction they wish to be protected from.

Fear of prices going down? Go for downside protection on your current holdings.

Fear of missing out? Go for upside protection on tokens you sell to ensure you never miss a pump!

Cross-chain Swaps

Users are now able to swap tokens to and from any of the most popular EVM chains. As a reminder, Smart Account functionality is only available on Arbitrum for the time being.

Quality of Life

Among other cool updates, users are now able to claim and purchase price protection using any token of their choosing!
